After the technical presentation and experiments on Process Change, Mrs Fabing described how a nuclear power plant works. She explained what her job at EDF comprised illustrating her points with interesting stories. Afterwards, different methods of producing electricity were compared in the context of current energy transition.

What is the future of nuclear? Do we know how to get away from oil? What about shale gas?

Is renewable energy a real alternative? Should we change our habits with regards to energy consumption?

The students were very interested and asked numerous questions.
