For Achdé, illustrating comics is a question of potatoes, pipes and geometric shapes. Thanks to these clever strokes he was able to sketch, under the watchful eyes of our delighted students, the head of Marsupilami, a superhero, and, of course, the face of Lucky Luke and his beloved Rantanplan.
He also explained to the students the job and routines of a cartoonist and the process of making comics: the illustrations take 9 months to one year!
On their side, students in 4è have fun with Lucky Luke by drawing him in funny and unusual situation.
At the end, Achdé kindly autographed the library’s comics and those the students brought.
Thank you to Achdé for coming to visit us!
