We are very proud to announce that 3 talented FIS linguists have been awarded “Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards” by Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) for their exceptional performances during the 2016 Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) examinations. This follows on from the excellent 2015 results which included Top in the World for Mathematics.

Constance’s advice to herself was “Don’t mess up …” and the result is plain for all to see!

Learning French is the best thing I’ve ever done!” said Mishel who has been studying French for around 6 years and chose to sit the First Language French examination.

Joseph sat his IGCSE French in Year 10 and will continue to test his language skills with IGCSE Chinese this year as a Year 11.

The Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards programme celebrates the success of learners taking Cambridge examinations in over 40 countries around the world. We are delighted that our students succeeded once again in achieving the highest marks worldwide and in Hong Kong.

Congratulations!
