Fantastic U13 Netball Team – 2nd Division Champions
The 2016-2017 season started with the introduction of a new coach, Georgie Boost, and a new team made up girls from Years 9 to 13. The girls showed dedication to the team by coming to every training session with a positive attitude to learning and developing their skills, even bringing along some other classmates outside of the team! With the help of our wonderful coach and by believing in each other’s abilities, this year’s team was successful in every match, and after a tough final became the champions of the Second Division! This year’s girls came together as a team and worked hard every game to accomplish this wonderful achievement, so a big congratulations to Maddy, Suzy, Maya, Sasha, Kayleigh, Gina, Eden, Liza, Naomi, Camille and Debasmita and a special thanks to Georgie!

Netball, as always, is an amazing sport, and this year in C Grade/U13 our team consisted of girls through Years 7-9 and what they lacked in age they definitely made up for in skill! Although we sadly did not win all our games, we’ve definitely improved together as a team and I think that’s what really matters. Training together has made friendships that otherwise would never have come to be, and I can’t wait for the next season to arrive so we can have another go at defeating all the other schools! Everyone, 3, 2, 1… GO FIS!!!
