This year’s cohort achieved an average score of 35 points which is 5 points above this year’s world average of 30 points. In addition, 27% of FIS students received the prestigious Bilingual Diploma – a great achievement.
Year 11 students also enjoyed success in the Cambridge IGCSE examinations. Half achieved 7 A*/A grades or better with almost one third awarded 9 or more A*/A grades. Around one third of all IGCSE examinations taken by FIS students were awarded at A*, almost 60% were awarded at A*/A and 93% were awarded at A*- C. Two students in particular stood out, one achieving 9A* plus 1A grade and another excelling with 10A* plus 1A grade.
In addition, 30 FIS students were also awarded the prestigious Cambridge International Certificate in Education (ICE) with 17 achieving distinction and 12 merit.
