21 pre-IB Diploma students visited the Guestroom of the charity Impact HK. They saw the spaces used by the charity to welcome homeless people and provide them with facilities for counselling, mentoring and friendship.
The students then went on a Kindness Walk, led by the charity’s founder. They met and distributed food, water, smiles and words of kindness to homeless people and people living in extremely difficult conditions.
It was an emotional morning for them!
As IB Diploma students, over the next two years, the group will spend time raising awareness of homelessness (and Impact HK) and raise money to support their amazing work. Indeed, the work has already begun as they are currently in groups designing plans of action!
