4eme Chiangmai trip

In less than 2 weeks les eleves de 4e, accompanied by 7 staff, will be off for their week of experiential learning in beautiful Chiangmai, Thailand!

While in ChiangMai, students will put into practice their learning from this year, in the areas of science (sustainability, agriculture); English and drama (service teaching and theatre in education); and history/geography (population, migration, and development studies.)

Included in their weeklong learning will be hands-on experiences at local NGOs that work to help displaced and disadvantaged populations in Thailand and help them to assimilate into Thai society; working with local schools on educational challenges; and getting their feet wet (literally!) understanding some of the challenges in environmental protection and agriculture in Thailand. Plus firsthand learning about Thai culture, history, language and food!

The week promises to be busy, but the students are looking forward to the challenge! Wish us all bon voyage!
