Teachers in motion: Physical Theatre training

The Language and Literature teachers were invited to a training session in physical theatre on our beautiful Tseung Kwan O campus last Saturday. Focusing on movement and bodily expression, this specific form of the performing arts helps, among other benefits, to develop self-confidence and stage presence, skills that teachers put to good use in the oral expression and drama classes taught in Drama and Language Arts at LFIS. Led by a professional from the “Gecko” theatre company and organized by Mrs Desgouttes, the training course brought together some twenty teachers from FIS and other international schools in the TKO auditorium, proving that LFIS is a trailblazer in holistic professional training for its teachers.
