AGM Results Notice
On behalf of the entire Board, I wish to thank our school community for their hard work and dedication in preparing a very smooth hybrid Annual General Meeting.
We thank you, the parents and all Members of our Association, for your participation and committed involvement.
The results* of the AGM votes are as follows (rounded to the nearest 0.01%) and are out of a total of 3691 possible votes in respect of each resolution:
Resolution 1 – To approve the minutes of the Annual General Meeting of 22 May 2023
Result: APPROVED (466 votes (94.52%) FOR; 2 votes (0.41%) AGAINST; 25 votes (5.07%) ABSTAIN)
Resolution 2 – To elect Directors to the Board of Directors, effective from 1 September 2024 (2 vacancies) by order of results:
- Mr. Gilles MARINO (452 votes (93.39%) FOR; 6 (1.24%) AGAINST; 26 (5.37%) ABSTAIN)
- Ms. Sher Li TAN (411 votes (83.71%) FOR; 14 votes (2.85%) AGAINST; 66 votes (13.44%) ABSTAIN)
Resolution 3 – To receive and approve the Audited Financial Statements and Reports of the Directors and Auditor for the year ended 31 August 2023
Result: APPROVED (453 votes (95.17%) FOR; 3 votes (0.63%) AGAINST; 20 votes (4.20%) ABSTAIN)
Resolution 4 – To approve the 2024-2025 Budget
Result: APPROVED (426 votes (89.68%) FOR; 32 votes (6.74%) AGAINST; 17 votes (3.58%) ABSTAIN)
Resolution 5 – To re-appoint KPMG as auditors of the Association, for the academic year 2024-2025, and authorise the Board of Directors to determine the auditors’ remuneration
Result: APPROVED (412 votes (84.60%) FOR; 11 votes (2.26%) AGAINST; 64 votes (3.13%) ABSTAIN)
