First Code Academy came to host an App-design workshop for our Year 5 and 6 students where they introduced AppInventor, a coding tool developed by MIT, and shared an exciting opportunity for our students to join an international mobile app design competition – AppJamming Summit. The winner gets a sponsored trip to MIT, Boston!  

Our students made a translator “Hello World” as their first app, a simple app that translates English into another language!

A fabulous first effort!
