On Thursday 9 February 2017, a traditional Bai San Ceremony was held in the Tseung Kwan O new campus site of the French International School (FIS) to mark the commencement of superstructure works. The new campus is due to open in September 2018. In Hong Kong, Bai San ceremonies are traditionally held at the start of construction projects to bring good luck and fortune.

Paul Y Engineering was appointed as the main contractor for the new campus in December 2016. FIS is delighted to be in partnership with this experienced and respected Hong Kong Company which first accessed the site in January 2017 following completion of the foundation laying.
