This is part of a major health engagement programme for this year whose objective is to promote healthy eating, exercise and sustainable energy in a fun way. All students and staff at BPR were encouraged to get on a bike and use pedal power to blend their own smoothies made from fresh fruit and healthy ingredients.
This event raised awareness and made a statement about healthy lifestyles and nutritional choices being fun. On Thursday 18 May, this programme was hugely successful – over 150 students and staff collectively produced 155 cups of fresh smoothies, burned 562 Kcal and pedaled 25 miles.
We hope they will all continue to have an active lifestyle along with a balanced diet and support sustainability!
