Opening of the new Jardine’s Lookout campus library
This week we celebrated the opening of the new library at Jardine’s Lookout Campus. Tuesday, 10th January was the grand opening of this beautiful space. For the occasion, delegates from each class in both streams had prepared a reading of a book entitled “A Book, What’s It For?”
Each child was able to read a page by choosing the language of their choice, so we had French, English and Mandarin!
It was a great opportunity to see the delegates of both streams working and celebrating together the opening of this shared space, which will bring the books of both streams together in the same place.
In order to extend this celebration, we proposed to the guests of the inauguration to come and read a book to a class during the week.
We would like to expand this initiative and offer all parents of students on the Jardine’s campus the opportunity to come read a story to a class during library time. This will be offered after the Chinese New Year vacation. We will come back to you soon to inform you about the registration process.
