Obliteration
After visiting the exhibition of “Yayoi Kusama: 1945 to Now” at M+Museum, students in art as a specialty and Year 12 in IB Visual Arts have each created a painting on canvas (50 x 76 cm), greatly inspired by the Japanese artist, who paints her famous points by thousands. In questioning the abstraction and repetitive processes of artistic creation, inspired by the unique and radical language of the artist, they had to repeat tirelessly the same gesture or the same motif. The result is magnificent, between space saturation and optical illusion. No to be missed! Exhibition until March 22 – 5/F, BPR campus
