Champions conference – Saturday 18th November at 6pm

Join the Champions conference of the French Science Festival on Sport and science: from health to performance on November 18th at the Hong Kong Science Museum.

The Consulate General of France is honoured to announce that Grégory Koenig, coach of the fencing team of Hong Kong (including Cheung Ka Long!) and Alison Yu, Hong Kong Paralympic Fencer with 7 gold medals, will be our ambassadors! They will engage a conversation on the interaction between science and sport to achieve performance in the context of the upcoming Olympic and Paralympic Games that will take place in Paris in 2024. Come and get the opportunity to watch Bboy Cplus and his teammates Bboy Humor and Bboy Shadow for a joyful breakdance performance!

You will also have the chance to listen to both Timothy Fok, President of the Sports Federation and the National Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China and Jenny Fung, President of the China Hong Kong Paralympic Committee and President of the Hong Kong Sports Association for the Physically Disabled, tell us more about the Olympics and Paralympics.

Free gym class – Sunday 19th Nov at 4pm

Physical activity is key to stay in shape, this year the French science Festival is organizing three free gym classes with the topnotch instructors from @Defin8, the most sought-after fitness and Pilates studio in town! The class will take place outdoor on the rooftop on Decathlon TKO. Enjoy a free gym class with cool music and a nice view! Drinks and snacks will be provided and souvenirs given to all participants (please bring your own yoga mat)!
