Being Active- CP/Y2 TKO Shared Project
CP and Year 2 at TKO campus have just wrapped up a great 5-week sports themed Shared Project. We were lucky to collaborate with some of the top local kids sports providers in Hong Kong.
A huge thank you to United Kingdom Football Academy (UKFA), their passionate and experienced coaches taught the children football through fun sessions all whilst challenging the children in many ways. The children worked on collaboration and teamwork while dibbling, passing and shooting.
The children also participated in a Rugby session with Rugby Tots who sent energetic coaches teaching the children how to catch, pass, kick, run with the ball and play as part of a team. The children focused on having fun, enhancing self-esteem and confidence.
Many children have tried yoga before but most had not heard of Pilates. We were lucky to have a parent volunteer, Angel- Pilates and Gyrotonic® trainer at the Mandarin Oriental, who lead the children through engaging and challenging movements.
Our Students are Spirited & Confident: this showed through their open mindedness to fully engage and try new activities, well done CP and Year 2!
We will be celebrating the end of the year with a CP and Year 2 Activity Day on December 15th. UKFA and Rugby Tots will be joining us again and this time we will get some parents involved in the fun!
