ECA Robotics – Friendly competition at the Victoria and Shanghai Academy

On November 29th, ten Robotics ECA students from the Blue Pool Road campus took part in a friendly competition involving 23 teams from 10 local and international schools, hosted by Hong Kong’s Victoria and Shanghai Academy.

The event was organized around the VEX IQ Challenge 2023-24, an annual global competition. This year’s challenge: robot design, strategy and team collaboration. The aim of the event was to get to know the other teams and collaborate together.

The students thoroughly enjoyed the experience and are now focusing on improving their robots and strategy for the next edition. The students will be able to present their robots at the next Family Fun Fair to be held on January 20th on the TKO campus.
