School Trip for the 2As – HKU and Monkey Mountain

The day of the 2As on Thursday, 27th June 2024 was marked by the seal of naturalism.

The morning began with a visit to the Biodiversity Museum at the Hong Kong University. During a guided tour by Dr. Guenard, the students were able to discover the Tree of Life through the collections of the main animal groups.

The university exchange continued with a visit to the Geology Museum guided by Dr. Man-Ching Cheung, followed by a workshop on paleoclimatology led by Dr. Not.

After a picnic on campus, the students then went to Kam Shan Country Park for a primatology session, during which they were able to observe communication in a social mammal: the macaque.
