Creative workshop for Years 6 and 8

29 June 2017News, Uncategorized

The Year 6 and Year 8 students worked together in 12 groups and were tasked with the mission to produce a short animation about one aspect of life at FIS Secondary School. The Year 6 students provided the technical expertise and Year 8 students were their ‘guides’ regarding the content.

The afternoon went by quickly and the atmosphere was very productive – it was noisy and positively messy with engaged learning and creative collaboration going on in every group. The resulting clips certainly showed the variety of ideas that were the result of a great afternoon.

Take a look at one of these animations “Life of a Locker” created by the students.

In the evening, the students presented their work to their peers, parents and teachers in the multi-purpose room.
