Debentures
To confirm your child’s place at FIS, you need to buy or hold a debenture. One debenture covers only one student.
The French International School “Victor Segalen” Limited is a non-profit company under the Hong Kong Company Ordinance, established and managed by a board of elected parents. By purchasing a debenture, the debenture holder agrees to become a member of the Association and be subject to its Articles of Association.
There are two types of debentures:
- Corporate Debenture (Category A)
- Private Debenture (Category B)
Financial Support
Each year, the following forms of financial support are available for study at FIS:
FRENCH STREAM
- school grants from the French government
INTERNATIONAL STREAM
- five corporate debentures sponsored by the Thierry Dubois family
- two merit-based scholarships for students entering Year 12
FOND DES AMIS Family Financial Assistance
The Fond des Amis Financial Assistance program is dedicated to supporting currently enrolled FIS families in times of economic hardship. This one-off assistance is designed to enable continuity in academics and prevent families who experience temporary economic challenge from having to leave FIS.
