ICHK Hong Lok Yuen Football Tournament – Boys & Girls Under 10s 

On 12 December, FIS took part in the Boys & Girls Under 10s ICHK Football Tournament. It was the first tournament for the Girls team this year and all the team showed good ability throughout the day. They lost a very close match against the eventual winners GSIS. In their final game, they managed a fantastic 4-0 win against Harrow. In the Boys tournament, FIS managed two wins to reach the final of the Bowl competition. They beat Hong Lok Yuen 4-3 in the final to win the Bowl.

ESF Football Tournament 

On 2 December, FIS took part in the annual ESF football tournament involving 20 other school teams. After a loss in the first game, FIS played displayed some fantastic skills to win their next 3 games. They scored 11 goals and only conceded 1! Second place in the group got FIS into the Plate semi-finals. Unfortunately FIS just missed out on making it to the final. The team were superb on the day and lots of other schools said how well FIS played.

ICHK Hong Lok Yuen Football Tournament- Under 8s and Under 9s 

On 1 December, FIS took part in the Hong Lok Yuen Football Tournament. For the Under 8s, students from Year 3 played in their first ever tournament for FIS. The boys played some really good football throughout the day and managed to score some great goals. In the Under 9s tournament, FIS went undefeated all the way to the Cup final. In the final, FIS drew a thriller 3-3 with Kellett School. The match went to penalties and FIS just missed out. The team did the school proud to finish 2nd place on the day.
