As a priority


Activate your Parent Portal account

You will have received the Parent Portal activation link from the IT department (subject: [FIS] ACCESS TO ENGAGE PARENT PORTAL FOR DAILY COMMUNICATIONS).

Through the Parent Portal, you will

  • receive all school communications
  • register your child for activities
  • download reports
  • retrieve invoices
  • access to MyLFIS

* This is mandatory in order to attend school
For French Stream Only

  • For families, whose child is joining FIS from CP grade onwards, please email the last 3 school reports to inscriptions@g.lfis.edu.hk. The 3rd term report should mention your child is qualified to move to a higher grade
  • For families, whose child is currently attending an AEFE school or French public, please email the EXEAT (Radiation certificate) to inscriptions@g.lfis.edu.hk.

Purchasing School Uniform
Uniforms are mandatory and can only be purchased online.

  • Details of the uniforms are on:
    PARENT PORTAL > Websites > MyLFIS > Life at FIS > Uniforms > School Uniforms
  • Label your child’s uniform with their name

Purchasing PE Uniform
PE uniforms are mandatory and can only be purchased online.

  • Details of the uniforms are on:

  • Label your child’s uniform with their name

Register your child for the bus service

Enrol your child for the canteen service

Good news
School books and stationery are provided by the school. Nothing to prepare!

  • There is no ECA programme for Petite Section (PS) / Nursery (NS) classes
  • There are a limited number of slots. First come, first served!

Snacks and occasional meals can be purchased using your child’s Octopus card.

Purchase textbooks, stationery and a padlock for your child’s locker

Appropriate padlocks are available for purchase at the school book shop

For French Stream only

Familiarise yourself with Pronote using the dedicated tutorial (access codes to be e-mailed at the beginning of the school year)

Through Pronote you will:

  • access your child’s “Cahier de texte” and assessments
  • download reports
  • receive most school communications and practical information
